Terms

You are buying a public leaderboard placement from Tech Local—not traffic, leads, ownership, or a guaranteed amount of time at any rank.

Operator

Best of SA is operated at bestofsa.co.za by Tech Local (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in the Republic of South Africa under number 2025/315373/07. Its office bearers are Tristan David Drummond and Devin Michael Stickells.

Best of SA does not currently subscribe to a separate voluntary accreditation body, code of conduct, or alternative-dispute-resolution scheme.

The service

Your once-off purchase adds the quoted amount to a public website listing. The listing activates only after a valid, completed PayFast notification—normally within seconds. Its position is determined by the Rules. Other verified payments can change rank at any time. We do not promise clicks, enquiries, sales, uninterrupted availability, or a minimum placement duration.

You can review and correct the URL and total on Best of SA before continuing, and review the final amount on PayFast. You can withdraw by leaving checkout before payment. These Terms, the Rules, and the Privacy Notice remain available online and can be saved or printed.

Price, payment, and records

Prices are once-off and shown in South African rand. The amount shown before you continue is the full price charged by Tech Local, inclusive of applicable taxes and with no delivery fee. Your bank may impose its own unrelated charges. PayFast processes payment and Tech Local appears as merchant.

Keep the PayFast receipt. The signed return link provides checkout status for 24 hours. You may request a copy of the transaction record from accounts@techlocal.co.za; completed payment and reconciliation records are retained for up to five years.

Cancellation and refunds

Where section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, a consumer may cancel a service transaction without reason within seven days after concluding it and is entitled to a refund within 30 days. That cooling-off right does not apply where the service begins with the consumer's consent before the seven-day period ends. By accepting the checkout terms, you request immediate activation after PayFast confirms payment. This does not limit any right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Being outbid is not a refund reason because the purchased placement remains delivered at the rank its total supports.

Contact accounts@techlocal.co.za for a duplicate charge, incorrect amount, failed activation, or technical error. We will investigate and refund where the service was not delivered, a duplicate was charged, we caused material non-performance, or applicable law requires it. Removal for a rule violation does not create a refund right unless the law requires otherwise.

Security and privacy

PayFast hosts the payment page. Best of SA does not receive or store your card number or CVV. Our payment checks and handling of personal information are described in the Privacy Notice.

Your listing

You confirm that you may submit the URL and display information, and allow us to show them publicly. You remain responsible for the destination and must keep it lawful and safe. We may remove, rename, or block a listing to address abuse, infringement, fraud, security risk, or legal obligations.

Liability and statutory rights

The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Tech Local is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, third-party sites, or changes in traffic or rank. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable South African consumer rights.
